I'm watching the draft right now. I had my friend dvr it. Anyone else think that once Columbus took Dubois at pick #3, the Isles should of called up the Oilers and tried to trade up to pick #4? Jesse Puljujaarvi was sitting there for the taking. Talk about getting a winger for Tavares, and now you don't have to worry about cap numbers for a little while.

What would they have traded for the first round pick? A #4 is not cheap

Also garth didnt want to draft he wanted to trade the pick...he just coupdnt find the right deal

Not only is the current team soft, but soon enuff small too.... Who says size doesn't matter....

Not a bad time to be an Isles fan with all of the prospects. We'll see what July 1st brings, but a lot of the UFA's have played in Brooklyn as visitors, so they know this is now a first class team with a top facility etc. Hopefully we bring in some size and talent.

Well picks and prospects are all well and good but I want to win now we've been waiting for years on prospects. Snow must have a plan to go hard at some free agents or else we aren't making the playoffs

It's no secret I'm no fan of Snow but even I'm willing to give the clown some time. He has done some good things well after the draft. With that said there's definitely some cause for concern

It's the same ever year. Cap is going to go down and we will see all these deals.

Unless the Isles can sign Stamkos, they will have to throw out a big deal at Ladd or Loui or they will need to include a guy like Nelson in a deal for a #1 wing.
